over drive not working !!! what do i do ???

my 2001 f250 7.3 diesel, the o/d is not working and i dont know what to look at or how to find out why. anyone know of anything i could possible do ? any ideas would be amazing

In shifting handle, is the od light working. I have takin several of these apart and replaced the wires in them, there is 3 wires and they have a habit of breaking

the od light blinks occasionally but thats it

Sounds like the shift lever. I had the same issue with it blinking sometimes or not coming on at all. Took it apart and it was a wire that was fixed before. Replaced the whole thing for about $50. No problems since.
