Hi guys umm I got a 2000 7.3 and the other day it started acting up it would almost die then catch it self and run again it finally quit after a bit so I replaced the ecu and the ipr valve and the icp sensor still doesn't start at all. It will start on ether but won't rev up and just stalls when your stop spraying. Can any one help?

 

do you get the wts lite when you turn on the key and starting fluid is a bad idea and can cause damage due to the high compression in a diesel motor

mine was doing the same thing and I unplugged my ICP and the truck ran great parked it and then it would not start thought I messed something up but was a fluke my fuel bowl heater shorted out and blew the #30 30 amp fuse under the dash I learned this info from this site and thats why I registerd here that fuse powers the pcm and thats why it wouldnt start

 

did you take it in for the cam sensor recall?
