I bought a 1999.5 7.3 in december it has a superchips micro tuner2001 programmer and a 4 inch turbo back exhaust. Ijust received a banks big head wastegate for my b-day and was wondering if it is even worth installing on my truck or if i need to do more mods to get anything out of it?

 

Nope its worth the install and you will notice more boost pressure before the wastegate opens

 

so if i install that wastegate, running with what i have would it be a good idea to go aftermarket intake and get rid of the superchips tuner and either go a dp or ts tuner? i think that would be as far of modification i would wanna go.
