Just traded sides from cummins
I have just bought a 2000 f250 super cab with long bed 4x4 it has 150k miles, I have only owned cummins/dodge diesels but found a good deal on this one.
It is my new project/daily driver, so I appreciate any advice on where to go from here, what to do and what to avoid. Like I said I am new to the powerstroke.
Updates:
It is 100% stock
I have already ordered gauges
Plus stock headlights, because he had aftermarket ones (so i guess its 98% stock)
I do plan on lifting it, but not sure how high or what wheels and tires
And yes I know how to use the search function, its also nice to hear new or different thoughts.
thank you

well I would of got a cummins but couldn't find a decent one in my price range (wanted no payments so I could buy mods). I do like the abundance of 7.3s which mean plenty of options. I have to say after driving it the last couple days I have noticed a few things that I should share, I am not biased I love cummins and my new powerstroke.
a lot of these have been said before but owning both now i know
1. For one ford's body is built a lot more solid then the dodge
2. Cummins has a lot more get up and go the powerstroke is sluggish (maybe just this one)
3. Cummins gets a lot better mpg's I used to get 18-20 in my 12 valve this gets 14-15
4. Ford has better interior
there are some others but I can't remember
either way there all good trucks except for chevy with ifs and duramax
