oil issue

Default oil issue

my brother just finished doing the injector sleeves on his 02 f350 they sent him the green permanant locktight and he did everything to the t new seals on the injectors put everything back together the way it came apart he said hes getting oil out of his exhaust and it takes alot longer to fire up now is there something internal that could be causeing this he asked me and im stumped

Thats normal. You have a bunch of air in the system that is gonna take time to work out... There is also going to be fluid in the cylinders, hence the fluid out the exhaust...

Gonna take a few miles to work out the air and fluid... Drive it like you stole it for a while...

how much is the question he said hes got quite a bit and hes getting a p1316 code with it

ok we ran it for awhile tonight and its not blowing any smoke whatsoever and no oil dripping out of the exhaust anywere now. but when we drive it over 35mph it runs rough and shakes the entire truck and still has code p1316 it seems to run fairly smooth when i rev it up any ideas at this point?

i guess it still has a couple drops of out coming out of the driver up pipe still when its parked i pulled the valve covers and everything is tight and all electrical conections are tight short of pulling injectors im out of ideas

1316 is an idm/injector circuit code.... anyway you can get a buzz test done?

buzz test? i have a edge cts and a sct that im cheching codes with the pass bank is fine the #8 is were the oil was coming from put new seals on again. heres a question though the oil tube at the top of the injector that shoots oil down the push tube hole isnt shooting oil on cylander 6 or 8 drive bank back two. i drove it for about 10 miles to try and get the air out but anything over 35 the damn truck chatters so bad

ok thanks i guess im needing to do a buzz test to figure out either what bank or which injector is givving me greif with the p1316 but that still doesnt awnser my question about th eoil tubes on the injector

well acording to ford is a injector is toast than the oil delectors will be dry so im trying to get a buzz test done tonight and go from there
