Turbocharger question...
I have early 99 F250 PowerStroke built 10/98 7.3L with K&N FIPK 2nd Gen Cold Air Intake; 4"Turbo Back Exhaust setup. It has 356,684 miles and still has original factory turbo and injectors which I'm sure I need to replace. I tow either a 28' or 39 ft 5th wheel from time to time but mostly use for my daily ride so interested in fuel savings as well.
My question is this... I've had such good service from the OEM Turbo I'm leaning towards putting original back into it. I'm aware the turbo from factory came with wicked wheel installed, is that going to be the case if I replace with new turbo from Ford? I can get new turbo from Ford delivered for just under $1000. Do ya'll guys think there is a better option without spending a lot more money?
Any help appreciated

Ok here is the story. Took to the shop and they removed pipe from turbo and was quite surprised. There was no slack in the turbo wheel and just very slight amount of oill. THe wheel pin was tight like I would expect a new one to be so I'm leaving it in place. On the other hand I DO need to replace injectors. Not bad but will do that now instead of turbo.
I have injector question but will put that into new post.
Thanks
