dont know what is wrong
Heres the situation everyone. I have a 00 f350 with 7.3L in it. I fried the last engine so I found another engine to put in it.Its also a 7.3L . i REMPOVED THE CAB AND TOOK ALL THE PARTS I NEED FOR THE NEW ENGINE and swapped them, took the old engine out put the rebuilt one in. put the cab back on and got it started.I put it in gear and fried the torque converter and tranny pump. So, i took the tranny out got it fixed put it back in.Start the truck put it in gear and press the gas ,it hardly will move and blows alot of white smoke outta the exaust. it starts fine, idles fine and revs pretty good in park, but put it in drive hardly nothing. i really have no knowledge with diesel engines, any help would be greatly appreciated

How did you fry an engine and transmission? Maybe you should let a shop do the work from now on? Might save you a buck or two in the end and you know somebody who is qualified is working on it...
White smoke is raw fuel so I would first test the injectors, buzz test and CCT... White smoke can also be coolant...
