Default Tail lights and dash lights.

I was pulling my horse trailer and the running lights on the trailer weren't working properly, they were only coming on when you engaged the break. When I unhooked, I lost my tail lights and dash lights. I've checked all of the fuses under the dash (the trailer break fuse was blown) and tried a new headlight switch.. any advice? It looks like whoever had the truck before pigtailed off the bumper trailer light plug in to the one in the bed, which is the one I was plugged into. I've also checked all the grounds.

Didn't see one, just a small box with 2 relays. Do I need to look somewhere else?

did you check the fuses under the hood? all the big ones should be hot all the time. the little ones idk if are hot all the time, but check them all. sounds like a fuse to me. fix that, then go from there. might have an bad wire somewhere between the fuse box and the rear plug. we just had a truck that did the similiar thing. fuse plus wire towards the rear.

I only saw the two relays on the drivers side by the fender. Where else should I be looking?

Found the fuse.. Back in business. Talked to a guy and he said make sure the lights are on when you test. May seem like an obvious thing to y'all but apparently not to me! Anyway, thanks guys!

there is a big square box on the driver side fenderwell. little clip towards the engine i believe to pop it open. all the trailer fuses and alot of the other MAIN fuses are in there. test light all the big fuses, each side of the fuse and make sure they are hot. let us know what you find...

I don't have that.. I only have a small box with a couple relays in it. My duramax had that so I know what you're talking about but the only fuses I found on the ford were under the dash. But it's fixed, I found the problem. Thank you!
