7.3 does not ideal right
my 02 ford f 350 ideals at 700rpm rather 500rpm like it did when we bought it. In the winter after i unplug it i start it and let it ideal. My truck used to some times ideal up 1100rpm and then i would tap the brake and it would go down to 500rpm . the truck is an 02 ford f 350 xlt lariet truck. the budy we bought from taught me to do that. If you think of any answers why it does it please respond. This is my brothers user name not mine

500 is normal mine idles right there all the time.
The exhaust back pressure sensor gives the information to the PCM to close the valve.
If you want it off disconnect the 2wire plug on the intake side of turbo.
I have pictures of deleting it but its a major project.
