Default Compressor Wheel Upgrade

Does the Bullseye Power drop-in batmowheel compressor wheel reduce the whistle on your turbo? I really like the whistle but Im in need of a new wheel...looks like a bolt or something has hit it (prior to my owning but ouch) Comments thankful

If you need a new compressor wheel just order up a Wicked wheel from one of the sponsers. You do NOT want or need a batmowheel. They, thus far have NOT proven themselfs for the $400 price tag.

I have heard from a few people that the wicked wheel reduces turbo whistle...is the wicked wheel really worth anything better than stock?

Wicked wheel makes more noise then stock.

It also moves less air for a given RPM. This is how it reduces surge.

So what should be done about replacing the stock compressor wheel, another stock wheel or a wicked wheel, or something else? Sounds like less performance but cooler sound from the wicked wheel and maybe more performance but less cool sound from a oem replacement?

not to hijack your thread, but when the stock wheel does the surge, does this hurt anything? i put the wicked wheel on one of my trucks to correct the surge, and one of my new trucks surges now too after adding a programmer.
