how about filling in your signature and let us know exactly what mods you have. what chipis it? what intake? what size turbo? also who built the tranny? are you still running stock injectors and internals etc? does the truck smoke at WOT?

I'm going to HIGHLY recommend that you get a Jacobs Electronics "Nitrous MasterMind". If you've never run nitrous before you are running a HIGH risk of blowing you engine up. You've got to know when to bring it on, how much, and when to shut it off. The Nitrous Mastermind is dash mountable and you can set all your parameters by turning dials and it has numerous built in safety features.

BTW- Zex is a good set up and many racers are running them.

well with my experience if you are still smoking then you can add some nitrous to clear the smoke some.... the best thing is start small and work your way up. DD has a good idea with the progressive controller but controllers like that tend to wear out the solonoids FAST as it's constantly opening and closing the solonoids determining the rate the nitrous is being injected.

Default nitrous

My personal experience with using nitrous on a 7.3 is becareful. A 200 shot is not for a PMR 7.3 but as long as you have one with fordged rods "'01 and back your ok" or you can spend big bucks on aftermarket ones. Also consider studding the rods and main caps along with a girdle.

The Tranny Wont Handle the added power. And Honestly, You wont have enough fuel to make nitrous worth while!
You'll also need headstuds, You'll lift your head in an instant on spray!

I honestly think theres better options for you than nitrous!

Lucas, stock studs on a 7.3 can handle nitrous. Trust me. Repeated runs of the 200 shot held up fine. But yes the stock 4R100 wont last long. The truck originally had stock fuel system on it and did very well sled pulling. But it now has dual pumps, injectors, turbo and some other surprises.

Woops, Didnt catch 01, thought it was a 6.0! The goal of Nitrous with a Diesel, Is tons of unburnt fuel, makes tons of extra power with nitrous....without explaining the physics!

PS, you've yet to call me!
