hpop non servicable plug

Default hpop non servicable plug

the non servicable plug on my hpop backed out some and was leaking oil everywhere. so i tightened it up for now and is not leaking yet. to my knowledge if that doesnt work and it backs out again i have to get a new pump or is there anything else i can do? thanks guys

go to your local international dealer and buy a new o-ring, get a tube of green lock tite, brake clean all threads and re-install to 12ft lbs. this is the ih approved fix for this we do at the dealer all the time. if leak persists yu will need to replace the hpop.

Order up one of these... TQ to spec and move on...

Of course you replace the HPOP... Of course, your not the one paying the bill, the customer is.
