My truck won't start after new PCM?
I'm new to this forum thing...
But I got a serious question and I need help ASAP!
Okay, I bought a TS 6 POS chip from PHP and installed, then my truck wouldn't start, so I went back and cleaned the connectors again and still don't start, and then I was told by a friend of mine to clean them down to the copper and then try cause it worked for him.
Then I talked to another buddy of mine and told him my problem and that I left my programmer in, and now I can't take it out, so now I have no programmer... ): But i thought I fried my PCM/ECM, so I went out and bought a new one, now my truck still won't start with a new PCM... What do yall think the problem might be? Please help!

1. Install old PCM, without a chip and try to start. Any WTS or SES lights?
2. Install new PCM without chip and try to start. Any WTS or SES lights?
Did you install the chip with the PCM out of the truck or in? Sounds like you removed too much material, you dont want to see copper, you have removed all the tin off the board. If it will start with your old PCM have it retinned and you will be fine.
Is the chip for your year/PCM/tranny code?

Yes, I did both methods, but I haven't put the chip in the new PCM because I don't want to have the problem again. And the WTS, check gage, and check engine light come on, and when I try to get the diagnostics from my programmer, it's not recognizing the ignition in the start position. And I installed it out of the truck.
And yes, I gave them all codes needed to order the chip.
