Default Changed oil pump and damper

Front seal started leaking. Decided to change the oil pump and the damper. Damper had a groove in it. Why not change it all while I was in there. My clutch has always been a bit grabby. Even with a new clutch and fly wheel. It had a growling in low rpm's. It is gone now. No grabbing and no growling after changing the pump and damper. Engine is much smoother sounding. Wish I had changed it 250,000 miles ago. I used the air chipper gun on the fan clutch. Two short burps with the chipper and it was loose. I won't use a wrench on a fan clutch again. 20 bucks from O'reilly's. Worth it. I don't know if it was the pump or damper that made the difference. I won't let it go as long next time. Have 520,000 miles on it now. Trying for 1,000,000. Just thought I would pass this info along. Thanks for all the info I have been able to gather from this site.
