Well so far i like the Edge. Havent pulled anything yet with it. I like the way the truck shifts vs the TS 6 POS chip. And its like it has a Engine Brake now when u get on the brake vs the TS chip when u hit the brakes rpms drop all the way down to damm near idle. I put it in race mode on the way to work and it was hauling the mail.

I put it it extreme mode at lunch time today and wow!. Its shifts 5x better than the TS chip. I got 286k miles and it feels like a new tranny and converter. If i put the TS chip on 101 or 140 hp feels like tranny was jerking around trying to shift to many times. I LIKE THE WOT SHIFT POINT OPTION. Thats cool sence u dont want to sling to motor up to 3400 rpms to shift at WOT. .

 

it's not a engine brake. the TC is just staying locked. IMO edge is junk. just like smokey freedom said.

 

Well it works good in my truck. Better than the TS chip I had. It's not a race truck anyways it my tow truck to pull my race car to the track. If I want to go fast ill jump in my race car.

 

just be careful with it its easy to go overboard with it . everyone has their opinion on programmers

 

yeah I will, I just use the tow mode anyways. We will find out how it pulls this weekend and next. Going to Noble,Ok and Dallas,Tx so that should be the really test.

 

I have edge evolution cts in my 99 powerstroke and it works great really woke the truck up

 

i had a edge evo and it fried my pcm i have a 99 f350 i didnt like it at all the hp gain wasnt worth a crap it did make the truck smoke like a feight train . i have a sct x3 its great i would go with that if i was u cause if u want different power of turbo or anything it can do it
