ok so ive got my hpop out due to an oil leak. im thinking about just replacing the hpop rather then rebuilding it. is there an aftermarket one i should be looking at? also im thinking about replacing my ebps tube and senser they are in rough shape. what else should i be looking for while i have this ripped apart? truck is a 2000 f-250 7.3l psd. thanks

No reason to replace it if its just a leak... The parts I linked earlier will fix it for less then $75 bucks, assuming thats where the leak is coming from.

i honestly cant tell exactly where the leak is i think your right but i just wanna put it back together knowing i have another 200,000 worry free hpop miles. anything else i should replace while i have it opened up? i know about the ebps tube and sensor and am replacing them. what else could be an issue i havent looked into yet?

You could go down to ford and get a reman pump and have it last 300 miles... or you could put your stocker back in and it will last another 300k. You dont know. I would fix the leak, change the tube if its broke or plugged and move on.

I like to deep clean the intake manifold when I do hpops or anything requiring me to take the intake off. If you have a lot of soot in there from your tune or whatever, it'll open it up and let your truck breathe better!
