if your mechanic did it then he should be responsible.... well look very close at them and see if they looked stretched or anything.

Default responsible

responsible,,ya right he denies all responsiblity even tho he has a 2 year warranty on his work, he said the glow plugs were all fine when he replaced them, none with broken tips....thats not what the piston shows or the noise he tried to determan that wasnt there when I brought it to him, he came up with worein wrist pins & wanted 14000 to replace the motor... I tore into it an called him on what i has found, he hung up on me So much for ASE certified.......ANYWAY I have one manual say to replace the heads studs & one that doesnt..I think @ 70 a set I will but ARP is 614 for the set...I cant aford that

Well I did seek counsel an told would be up to me to prove he did it & could cost more than the motor to no-resolve..I just want my truck back on the road, Taking the heads in tomarrow & having the injector cups replaced, Look @ the valves & check the connecting rod & buying a new piston & rings..
