So, between the 7.3, 6.0,6.4,and 6.7, each with best case mods to keep cool (within reason), in what order would they exceed their egt limit towing the same heavy load at the same rate?

The HUEI system is not as advanced as even the 6.0 system, the 6.4 and 6.7 use CR and pezeo injectors

The turbo is about as basic as they come, does not lend itself well to mods or low egt's

The heads are a 2 valve per cylinder compared to the 4 on the 6.0, 6.4 and 6.7...

The 4R100 is not as advanced as the 5R and 6R's are, giving you less control when towing to control EGT's...

A BONE stock 6.7L will tow circles around a slightly modded 7.3...

More or less the same story... The newer you get, the better equiped they are for towing...

D-max is a good design.

Cummins is more or less a HD truck motor... Tough SOB.
