MY passenger side valve cover is leaking, i have put a new gasket in and no luck. I kinda think the VC is a little bent from being over tightened. It has been doing this ever since i got the truck and never got time to mess around with it, it not leaking bad but it bothers the hell out of me so could i just pound the metal out because it looks like were the bolts tighten down at are not flush with the rest of the VC???

 

It's just a piece of metal, pound it out.
