god i hope it's not those! if it is i'll buck up and get the spindle conversion kit i'll pull the track bar and see. the upper bolt doesn't exactly look factory. i had to replace it on my 94 and supposedly you can't buy just the bushing, but you can buy the whole bar for about $250 i think i got screwed...

yea true that sounds dangerous hahaha

in my opinion, they never should've went away from the spindle setup!!! bearings were cheaper, and my oh my we had brakes that worked and lasted and they were big enough!!!

and yea i got the same story with the tackbar, bushings are not available, spent the $250 on it myself

it looks really close to a grade 5- 5/8" X 3 1/2" bolt i think it's just a scam. i mean $450 per side for a dam bearing? that's just a joke. and they were sure to put a set of really crappy hubs on too! then the track bar. i was able to remove the bushings from the old and new bar.

$450 per side?!?!?! where are you looking?? i dont even think the ones from Ford are that much! Last time i bought some they were just over $225 a piece, thats for the replacement Timken bearings. and yea screw those hubs, the old ones worked perfect, never an issue.

put the old bushings in the new bar and return it!!!

no, the whole thing is replaced as a unit, hub, studs, bearing housing, all one piece.

wait, your talking about your dually in your sig? if its a dually then i have no idea how much they are haha. those are my dealings with SRW's!

actually warn and superwinch make some good ones for these trucks!

that's what i thought. i ran into my buddies dad at the ford store one day and he was buying a set of 2 for his 01 SRW and brake pads/ rotors and he paid 1100 bucks! but on my dually the spacer bolts up to the hub. then the wheel to the spacer. and actually since mine is the e99 i have shorter hub bearings and shallower rotors. maybe they last longer? Lol i looked up some spindle sets, dynatrac.com and spyntec.com. check them out. nice looking kits!

nice kits! a little steep on the price for my liking.....

couldnt you just take the steering knuckles off a 92-97 truck with the spindles on them, and change your front axle shafts?? i dont know if the ball joints would work or not.....

theyre a little pricey. i wonder on that. i got a d60 on my 94 so i'll be doing some measuring. odds are things will be just a little bit different... i honestly never even thought about that. the ball joints are probably a different diameter and a different taper.
