Default P0196 Code

I have tried to do a CCC of my truck before and it just shook once and then showed P0196. But I figured out that it had to be up to operating temperature before it would work. Well it was plenty warmed up as I had been driving for about 30 minutes before I ran the test. It ran the test and did the normal shakin and such, but it threw that code at the end when it was finished.

What could cause this?

Thanks for the help
Travis

Engine Oil Temp sensor performance

according to ALLDATA, this states that during a cylinder contribution test, engine oil temp was not above 165 degrees F or 1.37 Volts.

OR a faulty EOT sensor itself.
OR other codes are logged causing the test and EOT to mess up.

any other codes??

start checking your engine oil temp sensor.
