Default Clutch master cylinder issue

For some reason when I push in my clutch the rod that connects to the cylinder comes off. Idears?

the rod pops of when you push the pedal down? is the pin holding the rod to the pedal linkage still on? is the master clylinder loose where it bolts to the fire wall?

i went thru 3 of those dang little plastic bushings before i could get it to seat on the rod... then my clutch went out... LOL

ford sells a replacement pin for the clutch pedal to master cylinder for about $35 I rebuilt mine for about $2.50 with a carefully chosen door hinge pin, bushings and an e clip.
