bad oil leak

Default bad oil leak

Well a wile ago i noticed an oil leek coming from the back of the motor somewhere well its pretty bad now and only leeks when the motors running its coming from the back of the motor somewhere just seeing if anyone would know were its coming from.trucks a 96 obs psd just rolled over 200,000


EDIT: looked and there's no oil in the valley just some diesel because i have to replace the lines.But the oil seems to be towards the back and since no oil in the valley i don't thinks its my HPOP but were should i look to make sure ts not my turbo pedestal

Is there oil in the valley of the motor?

Oil on the back of your engine usually comes from the drain hole in the back of the valley. If it was your turbo O-rings, it would probably run out the hole and down the back of the engine without showing up in the entire valley. You need to really get to the very back of the valley and inspect it closely.
