i'm convinced mileage is different between vehicles even if they are identicle. my 99 get's 16 tops on the flats between hays and denver. but going over berthoud pass with a trailer i was gettin 19. makes sense huh?

i was wondering, for all you guys running 4" straight pipes and 3" down pipes, did the mileage get better or worse?

Mileage got better for sure. On every single diesel I've owned the mileage got better w/ dp and exhaust.

it didnt do anything for me. it could help but i think its all in your head.

talk to my buddy. he'll tell ya that it makes all the difference. so claimed 28 highway. maybe downhill in neutral with a tail wind and a semi pushin him.

^I'm not sure about 28mpg.. but my modded cummins could hit 26mpg with a steady foot. But that was more than just an exhaust that was done.

95 stroker, DIY intake, DIY 5" straight pipe and a edge evo. not gonna happen.
