seriously? ive heard several people say that lucas stabilizer is good to run in trucks with HEUI, it fights cold starts and gives good lubrication that the injectors need. can you tell me more?? on the subject of additives, diesel power did four tests with injector cleaners and cetane boosters on a 97 PSD and it proved to increased fuel milage. they say that trucks that were built during the Low sulfer diesel years were not built to run on ULSD (pre '07) and it robs lubricity from the fuel. but everyones got their opinions about oils and additives.

Dead serious, It works into a foam and is hard as hell on your injectors. That Lucas is bad stuff for the HEUI... People tell you its good because they run it, and for $14 bucks a bottle it has to be good right???

There is no reason to run anything thru our injectors but diesel fuel, all your doing is wasting money.

in my opinion then, I would say that ULSD is crap and additives can add the lubrication that was taken away by creating ULSD, diesel fuel alone is going to gunk up any injector over time and I have felt a noticable difference when running BG product or cetane booster. but I guess for almost 5 bucks a gallon, ULSD must be good right?

I have over a million miles driving the 7.3, never had an injector failure due to Oil or Fuel...

I run Diesel in my injectors.

I added 4 ounces of snake oil addative to my oil and two in the fuel. I'm getting 31 mpg on the highway and my odometer is going backwards!
