Default truck will not shift into gear

my 97 5speed psd will not shift into gear and will not start without having to jump the starter.
lets see the best way to put it...
once i finally get the truck started in neutral. i have to yank and pull with all my might to try and get the truck and gear and still most the time will not go into gear i have very very minimal clutch pedal. i just replaced the slave cylinder bout a month ago because the o ring on the old one went. i have had people tell me to re-bleed the slave cylinder which i have and still no change.
so what i am wonderin is if its possible that it could be the pedals and the linkages under the dash are just worn out
any info would be great

sounds like the clutch, was it slipping or shuttering at all?

that wouldnt cause nothin with the pedal like i said i have very very minimal pedal and alot of play. it will shift perfectly fine without the truck runnin but once the truck is running is almost damn near impossible to shift into gear
No leaky cylinders or anything like i said i replaced the slave cylinder and when i looked the other day the reservoir was full
