Now when it loses power it idles real low and dies out when I stop

You have to get a scanner on it.
You must get it scanned.
You need to get the codes read
Read the codes.

Read the codes on a scanner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think what he is tryin to say is get the truck scanned and let us know what the codes are...I could be wrong though...

Even if someone has has a similar issue, it may have a different problem with the same affects. Alot on the 7.3 is electronic (elec. controlled, or monitored). The codes givin on a scan will best lead you in the right direction to fixing the problem. All of us on here will try to help, IF you give us something to work with (i.e. - we need to know codes if there are any ALONG with what's happening). The codes may be the bullshit that's causing your truck to act up.
