Im assuming you mean uncontrolled by how the ingnition in the cylinder happens? I know you can dial how much (cfm) goes into the engine, or were you trying to say the density of the mixture? The timing goes without question as propane would definitly ignite under compression before the diesel, helping it burn more completely. Your opinion here has not been understated at all. It just seems with the success of others using this on stock or slighly modified diesels surely leaves room for its use in a diesel engine for adding mileage and power. And thats what I love about diesels. BOMB!

As a side note to answer how I feel about the subject as a whole, the safety and predictability of water/meth would definitly be my 1st choice.

The main thing we look at is it is not so much as the direct power gain as it is that you are able to stay in the throttle heavier and longer due to cooler EGT's. It does add power, but it also allows you to use more of your current power.
