Water Methanol or Propane injection
#22
Let me know if you would like pricing on the Coolingmist systems.
I mount the injectors before the turbo on the intercooler pipe.

I am just assuming that Kenny meant after the turbo...
DO NOT INJECT WATER PRE TURBO... It will in short order eat the compressor wheel, just as dirt would!
I would also recomend mounting the injectors post IC, as at low pressure and low temps the water can pool inside the intercooler and cause issues.
In the Y after the turbo.

heres the deal, propane can be used in two different ways, one for economy, or for power, when propane is mixxed with air and fuel in small amounts it becomes a catalyst much like a catalytic converter which will give u a sizable gain in mileage 2-4 per gallon and some even up to 8, but when u turn it up u can get very large power gains in upwards of 30% so it becomes a question of can u control urself, the only downfall to propane is that it tends to wash the injectors and lead to early failure which is not really a problem with IDI but can be a headache in comonrail

You know, I was thinking of running both. You can shut off the propane and run the water/meth when running street or towing. Or vice versa. Versatility is the key here. I love the water/meth's cleaning ability and love how clean propane runs the cylinders. Run out of either and you still have an option. And both keep longevity of our engines in mind.

Scary...
You should see what propane injection does to the Cylinder Pressures... And thats not good for the longevity at all...
mmmmmm timing.

I understand that cylinder pressures in excess (to much propane) are a negative affect on engine longevity, but a clean burn (use) of all the gasses in the cylinder has got to be better for the life of the engine. Not to mention that it would be better for mileage. I wouldnt want to waste a drop! Your mention of timing has this guys brain engaged!

x2 on Cooling Mist - I don't have one but after researching and phone calls they seem to be the ones to go with. As for tank mounting I'm thinking of mounting mine on the passenger side like the Chevy saddle tanks, of course when I put the onboard air in that's where it was supposed to go.....

Propane or PROPAIN as it should be called is an uncontroled, unmetered fuel. It effects timing in a huge way. You can not predidict when a propane injected truck will fire off.
Propane should be used in BBQ's and taxi's...
