Default bent valves

Well I finally ditched the edge tuner, and got a TS, stage one injectors, and gauges. I got everything in and it was ana amazing ride. Night and day difference in the power. I let my buddy drive it, and he brought it back with a thumping from the intake. I pulled the valve covers and saw a pushrod bent into an S on cylinder 3 intake valve. And cylinder 7 with a rocker hold down bolt broken. What should I do to keep this from happening? Whats the best brands to throw back in it? If i stay stock could I just buy a reman passenger side head because thats the bad side. Also can I reuse headstuds?

Does it have head bolts or aftermarket head studs?

What boost levels are you pushing? There is no way you should be floating valves with stage 1's... What RPM's was he pushing?
