hey guys just bought a 96 f250 4x4 long bed ext cab. planning on the 6 pos TS chip. either leveling kit or 4" lift 315 tire cold air in take and exhaust. feel free on any input to what will be the best combo for the total package as far as exhust size for efficancy and any problems with running the ts chip on this year truck. my father owned the truck nd tried a super chip but the truck wouldn't even start.any imput would be helpful. and thanks

 

Your Dad did not do a superchip, he tried the Edge.

Stay away from the lift and tires if you want fuel efficiency.

 

Look into the MBRP 4" aluminized bolt on kit. If u look hard enough u can get a good price. ( i got 300 shipped to door. turbo back.)
Biggest thing to do is make sure all the truck maintanence is up to date. LINK lots of good info here

 

the efficiency wasn't for the fuel mileage it was for turbo lag. efficiency on exhaust. and your right it ws the edge i was just looking at the super chip page comments and it was on my mind.

 

Give some of our sponsers a chance, I would go with a chip from Power Hungry Performance, a set of Isspro Gauges from Diesel Dawgs and a good exhaust system from any of the vendors.
