a new intake would replace that? S&B makes one for about 270 bucks thats pretty good. or you could just get some PVC pipe

Wrecking yard.... FORD... they will both carry the part. A aftermarket intake would not replace this part.

Too many things can be called "intake". Everything from the air filter, to the turbo, through the spYder??, through the intercooler, back to the spIder, down to the part bolted to the engine, for which I personally have chosen the name plenum.

I believe you are not talking about one of the two hoses between the spyder and the plenums.

I do believe you are talking about the nonlinear hose attached to the turbo inlet that increases in diameter to 4". If you are, The orange ones are obsolete and you need the updated kit that includes the aluminum center section. part # F7TZ-9C681-AA. try Powerstrokeshop.com @$100. or your Ford dealer. or junk yard.

you could always try a big truck shop
i got one from the local international dealer, i had to shorten it up a bit, but it was cheap and much easier to find than a direct fit piece.

thanks for all the help we couldn't find one at a junk yard. ford didn't help out much so i ended up finding one from a friend who owns a shop. and it replaced the aluminum and orange part. i guess they had some problems with that orange hose corroding. the new one is alot nicer.
