correct me if im wrong but our OBS powerstrokes have the "wicked wheel" that kee[s the turbo whistle down. cant you just pull that out if you want more whistle in the turbo?

 

Yeah its called the silencer ring. Pull the intake side tube off and when u look in there it looks like a big snap ring

 

There is no such thing as a silencer ring in a powerstroke. The wheel that is in your truck now has more whistle then a SD. They changed the wheel for the SD because the OBS and the E99 had to much whistle.

make the exhaust straight piped and you will be able to hear the turbo.
