Bad knock and jerk

Also forgot to mention that the fluid was more brown than red, and had an odd smell to it. Got the transfer case off and thats all in good order. Working on getting the trans off now.

Haha! I'm not going to compare it to the $3 hooker, but definitely does not smell good.

Yeah, so just an update for anyone interested.
Problem was not the transmission.
Rear axle is toast.
