I have to change a timing cover, what is the easy way to do it? Is there any special tools I need?

Timing cover???

Are you talking about the entire front cover of the motor?

No special tools, just alot of time.

Your going to have to pull the motor, pull the oil pan, pull all the front acc off and then you can get to the front cover...

Why do you have to pull it?

Cracked at the top for the HPO res???

Once you replace it, make sure you are using the correct gasket for your year of motor.

If you try and install the gasket for the superdutys on a OBS it will crack the front cover every time...

Its a bear but just take your time.
