Another Oil Pan Question

Another Oil Pan Question
My oil pan is spewing oil and I thought I had the dreaded rust hole syndrome. Not really wanting to pull the motor which is required to get the pan past the oil pick up tube, or paying someone else for 17 hours of labor to to it for me, I crawled under the truck to get a good look. Where the Dip Stick Tube comes out of the pan is a large nut for lack of a better word. Is the tube threaded into the oil pan? If so can I unscrew it and seal the threads with thread sealer or JB Weld or something? I lose about four quarts of oil a week. I just put a ton of money, well about $4000 any into my truck for 4 new tires, shocks, and all new suspension under the front and I am at the point to where I have to make a decision, do I put more money into it or park it and save up $6000 for a rebuilt motor.
So, can the nut be JB Welded or the threads sealed?

Re
I am not sure a welder could get a 360 degree bead around the area in question. It's tight up there. It is a good idea though, I will look and see if I can find somebody that can tell me if they would or could do it. What about fire? Would I have to drain the oil and steam clean the area outside of the oil pan of any residual oily/gooey stuff?

Seems like I read somewhere about a seal that goes on that thing. I may be wrong. lemme look around. And yes JB weld is my friend to.

Thanks NevrKnow
I followed the link you suggested, and after ordering about $38.00 worth of parts and a few hours of labor, I got my leak in the oil pan stopped. It's a beautiful thing not going through a gallon of oil every day or so.
Thanks again for the help.
