Both look ok, all depends on what you like. The stacks will be very loud in the cab

Pricing really depends on what resources you have access to. In my search for an economically priced performance exhaust system, what I did is found one I liked, and searched around the net with the part number to find the cheapest place that sold it. You might have performance shops in the area that have custom/prefab kits competitively priced. Turbo-back stacks and 5" diameter systems I found to be pretty expensive compared to a 4" turbo back system. In my opinion the stacks would be more of an intensive installation process as you will be cutting 1-2 holes in your truck bed depending on how you set it up. If you do a turbo back system that utilizes an aftermarket downpipe you'll be modifying your firewall, which is tedious but not hard as you can find plenty of DIY vids on Youtube. If you're looking to get the most out of an aftermarket performance system a minimum 3" diam down pipe is a good idea.

In my opinion between stacks or single rear exit I personally think that stacks look better on standard cabs. A lot of how a single rear exit will look depends on what kind of exhaust tip you use.

Im leaning toward twin black stacks. What brand would you recomend for the kit downpipe and stack tips?

Thing about this... Had some time on my hands and went window shopping at a local heavy truck supply. (I used to be a diesel mechanic and got a lot of parts through them.) I was looking at 4" material to fabricate my own 4" elliptical downipe (I have 3" dp now). That's where my restrction is now // how I see it.

I got to thinking about your posts and up-pipes... Got my thoughts going. (Which is not always a good thing while I'm window shopping and getting ideas... LOL) I'm thinking for me, if I did that, that I would be ahead by piecing mine together from parts through them. Painted flat black. Then using heavy truck chrome heat shields... Maybe something for you to think on...

Most muffler shops around here won't touch anything bigger than 3". That's because their equipment can't bent anything bigger than 3". I checked on 4" pipes when I originally did my dual's. That leaves the diesel specialty kit's which knew they had a niche in the market. Some of those were very proud of their products price wise. My local muffler shop pointed me back to that same truck supply, as to where he got his raw exhaust pipe and fittings...

Prices have dropped some since back then, but...

But, then again, I have my own commercial welding equipment and a business license to be able to buy some things wholesale.
