i couldn't see on the website but does this kit come with the intake y to plenum boots or do i have to purchase them seperately. the reason i am wanting to beef up my truck is because all the cummins and duramax boys around here think that they are the **** and i want to show them that a good ole 7.3 powerstroke can get it too.

what kind of power do ya guys think those mods will give me
So thate quotes above, but with the S366 Turbo and SD intercooler, came out to 521.9hp/865ft lb. on a stock bottom end?

What kind of mods did you end up with for the top end, besides the valve springs and push rods? Was that still as listed "here"?

That is great! You gotta love it when things work together. Now I'm hoping for you "long hours and many miles..." Late 70's, I was racing Ford's... because everyone else was racing with Chevy's and Mopar. It felt good to be the over-powered, what-other's-thought-to-be underdog and come out on top!!!

Good HP number but that torque seems way low

I've been following this... I would love to inherit or to be able to salvage your spare parts!!!

Your first posts in this thread asked about the bottom end. My first post in this thread, I mentioned which years had forged or powered rods. I assumed that with your moniker, that you were talking about an early pre-99 7.3l's with forged rods.

You now mentioned that "you" have 3 blown up 7.3l's. So... What was the "year" of the latest blown 7.3l? How many miles was on it before these mods? With the injectors, I'm assuming you had it chipped with the RPM limiter unlocked... Do you know what the ceiling was moved to? ..And why did you not mention previously that you already blew up two 7.3's and how "they" were mod'ed? (That might have made a difference on recommendations...)

You are asking what mod's would help? If you have 3 blown motor's just with the mod's you did... Advice-- protect your investment and "over-build" it-- both the bottom end and heads. What does that mean? Build it stronger than the power mods will take it to.

If you did that same to the other 2 motors that you did with this last one, then you have dumped enough money in all 3 to do it right. And if this is the third motor that you've blown and you are still pursuing this, it's something that is going to happen again, unless you do this right... Does that make sense and sound logical? From what you've already done, it sounds like you can afford it and that is still your goal.

Just saying... wow. I want to be a person of your interest for parts you decide you no longer want to use!!! I'm a Disabled Vet... that would be a long-term investment involving being without many things for me.

the three powerstrokes i have sitting in my garage are not blown up. one of them has a cracked block cause i was running pure water in it during 10 degree weather and the other two i pulled out of wrecked trucks. none of them are blew up buddy
