7.3L problems
I got a 1995 f250 four wheel drive got it for cheap ($3,000) Arkansas truck no rust, my buddy got it when it had no motor so he had to put a motor in the truck, he got a 1996 7.3L he sold it to me without it running so I finished up the motor job got it done and got it started well it smoked so much white it burned your eyes so we drove it out side (at 20 degs) it wouldn't idle we held down the throttle at 1,000 rpm until it was warmed up then it idled took it down the road it had no power and smoked so bad you couldn't see the road, well going up and over a hill it shut off and won't start got her towed home and found starter was stuck to the flywheel replaced starter and still did nothing found out the power cable starter to battery was rubbed threw and shorted out well my question is why did it shut off I was thinking IPR?? Haven't had time to get it started again but I need help what could white smoke be bad injector o rings? From the motor sitting?

Inexpensive and fairly easy repair. Do the glow plugs too while your under the valve cover. Replacing the orings on mine didnt stop it from smoking, but I did find a few that were brittle and cracked. You can get the orings for like 7bucks per injector. I think mine is still smoking because the injectors are worn and 15w oil is so thick when cold.
Everything is normal if the block heater has been plugged up for a few hours
