nope...do me a favour, please educate me.

that said, I'm assuming this'd be an entirely new fueling system, and therefore, quite costly?

I had a fuel leak too, couldn't find it anywhere. Is yours almost a small river when it leaks?

dunno how it is into the valley. off the bottom of the bell housing it's sometimes a steady drip.

you can do an Electric fuel pump set up for less than that!
pre and post filters, SD fuel pump and a aeromotive regulator, steady fuel pressure, quicker starts and no valley leaks!

holy ****...I thoguht my prices were bad.

150 bucks for the entire fuel filter housing, 170 for a diaphram pump...

cummins bronco:
I don't doubt that it's possible.
however, without a full out guide and part numbers, I'm useless. it's not that I just won't do it without those things, I can't. Like I've said before, I just play at this mechanic **** when I need to.

for example,, just checked beans diesel, they deal airdog lift pumps, and I'm assuming that is what a person makes themselves when they go with an "e fuel setup".
if the airdog is a "bolt in" solution (ish, I know there's still gonna be some cocking about) then I'd be more inclined to go with that because there is the lowest chance of ******* **** up possible. even for the higher price tag.

not that i don't realize the theoretical simplicity of a diesel rated pump, a pre and post filter, and lines to the injection system.
but I'd probably find a way to **** it up.

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

pulling off the fuel bowl, entirely this time, to see what it is... will take all of tonight and tomorrow if I gotta. this will get found goddammit.

that looks like an alright write up. that doesn't look like an overly fun job to do, but hell, I'll read up on it and this summer I might give er a try. part numbers are awesome!

for now, I've got the fuel bowl off and on my desk (reminds me of frittering around with the carbs on my old motorcycle and my 318 ram) and I'm going over it for bad O rings. the drain valve rings are swollen and not so soft anymore, but they aren't cracked.

the rest of the rubber hoses are getting replaced tomorrow, and I might pull the fuel pump up if it's not too terrible and replace the ring(s) there as well.
