'96 E-350 Water Pump Help?
Hey Guys,
I just got a 4x4 converted 1996 E-350 Club Wagon in May. She's got about 265,000 miles on her. About three weeks ago my water pump started leaking like a sieve out of nowhere--no great surprise really. The mechanic wants to charge me $1200 for the job.
I have never delved this deep under my hood before. I have watched videos for replacing the F-350 water pump, and I expect it to be similar in the van, but with tighter quarters. I am going to tackle it this weekend. My questions are these:
1. Anything you can tell me about this project that I might not expect?
2. Is there anything else you recommend I do while I have her open?
3. Will I have to take the radiator out to get to the pump in the van?
Any help you can offer would be appreciated!
Many Thanks,
Josh
