ATTN Starting issues, new turbo or?

Hey guys I have a 97 7.3 and I just replaced the glow plugs and I'm still having a very hard time staring my truck in the mornings (or at all for that matter) I was told by a few people it may be due to my turbo going bad, I spits a lot (and I mean a **** ton) of white smoke when I start it and the back pressure valve keeps comming on going down the road no matter how long I leave it warm up.

I was thinking maybe injectors or file related issue? Advice or thoughts would be greatly appreciated

put a scanner on it and see if there area any codes that come up, could be injector problems.

The turbo has nothing to do with starting.
Check the glow plug solenoid.

I literally just had the glow plugs and sylanoid And harness replaced at Christmas time and iv hooked a reader to it, only code I get is about the camshaft position sensor which I also just replaced for like the 5th time, and I thought it might be the turbo throwing oil into the motor because all the white smoke

if it was oil in the motor, the oil would be blue, not white. Might have a bad wire or somthing going to the CPS, try replaceing the CPS again and see what happens.
