Default 95 7.3 sensor

I changed my lift pump out & I noticed there was a tiny leak coming from a sensor on the back of the fuel filter housing. It has a single brown wire coming off the top, called parts store & even a Chilton's book had no reference to it. Can someone tell me what that is called & is it a dummy sensor?

Ok so I found out that it is the fuel filter restriction sensor, is it normal for these to leak?

Yep, not an uncommon place for a leak...
