Default 1997 F350 Problems... Any Advice?

Hey so I just bought a 97 f350 7.3 turbo dually with a flat bed with 99k miles on the truck. It has been sitting around for a while and the ABS light keeps blinking on the dash, also the truck wont start without spraying some starter fluid into the air filter, another this i wanted to ask is that it came with a steel flat bed, but i want to sell it and was wonder what a good price would be for a cleaned up painted flat bed. also did know if anyone had any advice on the problems i have been having.

p.s. i replaced the fuel filter and the air filter.

thanks guys i appreciate the help, and i was going to do 1000 but i just wanted to check first.

also why shouldn't i use ether? will it cause more problems? and its been roughly 35 where i live so i usually wait about a minute after the WTS light goes out, but ill look into the glow plug relay.

thanks for the help guys if there is any other info or advice you may have on the truck let me know if you would.

if the ABS light is on and the speedo ever fluctuates it is probably the speed sensor on top of the rear diff. swap it out and the light should go out.

Obviously your glow plugs are not working. If they were, the truck would start. Also, if they were working and you used ether, You would learn why not to use it and never forget.

My advice type is go to Google type in why you shouldn't. Use starting fluid in a engine with glow plugs look at video and the pics
