So I'm new to the powerstroke world, but ive fallen in love with them. I bought my 96 F250 xl a year ago bone stock about a year ago. When i bought it, she had 43k miles on her and now has 61k. Im wanting to gain more horsepower but not sure where to start. Ive already installed a k&n air intake, straight piped the exhaust and im waiting on a downpipe for it. what other engine mods do you guys recommend? Also Ive heard that you can switch out the computers to a 97 model comp. so that way you have more programmer options. Is that true?? Oh I also forgot to mention She's a 4x4 5spd regular cab truck. Id love to hear some ideas to get me on the right track

 

no need to swap computers, yours is basically the same. how much power do you want? first thing you need to do is get gauges. also need to get the downpipe in it and take out that K&N
