my dads 97 almost caught on fire last night, we were feeding cows when his dash started smoking, we got the batteries unhooked, and after looking at it somehow his wires going to his boost and egt guagescught on fire, truck came w/themso im tjust trying to figure it all out, truck seemsto run okay but now he claims his truck ain't shifting right, trying to figure it out any advice or things to look at would be great

 

Did you get the recalls done pretty sure there are a couple for fire hazard, cruise control and Ignition switch I believe.
