Default swap turbos ????

can i take a turbo from a newer model f250 a 2008 or some tihng like that i think the are bigger and put it on my 96 7.3? will it hel p in the economy and power areas?
wil it make me faster and kick a**

Nope... You would have to do an immense amount of work for 6.0/6.4 turbos to retrofit and even a turbo from a 99-03 7.3L would be more work than it's worth... Doesn't matter, without more fuel, adding a turbo would be worthless...

so i would have to move the amount of diesel inyected in to the engine?
where is the economy in that?
do you now of any nice trick i can put on my truck its totally stock it hauls but id like it to be faster and lighter but whit economy any advice?

If you want more power, you have to use more fuel which will lower your fuel economy.

If you want more economy, good luck. Drive like a grandma, make sure your tires are inflated properly, brakes are in good condition...etc...

No tricks. First things I would do is get a good intake system and a 3" downpipe or full exhaust...

Slow down on your posting so I can at least read it...

Turbo doesnt make more boost without more fuel.

Your OBS more then likely has AA injectors which are 90cc per 1000 shots. You could swap in a set of AD superduty injectors which are 140cc per 1000 and see a bump in HP, but it would also knock up your EGT's a bit.

If you go the AD route I would also install a 17* HPOP.

You have a good turbo in there now, assuming its in good condition I would do as James mentioned. Intake and exhaust.
