Default 1997 7.3 powerstroke electrical problem

I replaced my 7.3 with 390,000 miles with a 7.3 with 100,000 miles. In the process I broke the starter solenoid on the passenger fender well .Oreilys sold me one they said would work. I hooked it up but it would not work from the ignition key but I could start by jumping the solenoid on the fender well. I decided to replace the glow plug relay but was sold a starter solenoid instead . I only found this out after hooking it up and it got extremely hot. So I have now replaced both the solenoid on the fender well and the glow, plug relay and had the starter checked out as well.

Could I have fried something! Please help... I have also checked all the fuses which were all fine

Thank you
Chri

I guess I am not seeing the issue you are having... Is it still not starting with the key but starting when you jump the solenoid on the fender? Sounds like you might have the ignition wire on the wrong stud on the starter solenoid on the fender... The GPR has nothing to do with this issue... You need to make sure you get the right relay for it though... At napa, ask for a GPR-109... That's the correct GPR...
