Default Def trouble

I have a 2011 f250 diesel. The problem is the def tank is full but it still counting down mileage like it is running out of fluid. I filled it a few months ago and it's still full. Any ideas. This is my first post

If the level hasn't changed then you might have a bad sensor.

Did you fill it with a jug or at the pump. Mine likes to click the pump at 1/4 tank then if I go slow I can get another 4-5 gallon in it. Mine uses approx 1 gallon every 1000 miles

An actual DEF gauge would be too smart. LOL

I thought the new 6.7 had the def tank gauge in the dash?
The big rigs have a def gauge.
