2012 ford f350 6.7 power stroke 152,000 miles on it.

He got a p246e code went to change sensor and threads stayed in module trying to get those out. He thought he could drive it a mile to auto parts store, but when he cranked it up it shut down and will not crank back up. Showing codes P200C - Diesel Particulate Filter Over Temperature Bank 1
P200E - Catalyst System Over Temperature (Bank 1). Says he can not erase codes either. Anyone know what to do?

 

It sounds like the dpf system has put the truck into a shut down mode.
I'll have to do some checking, or hopefully someone will chime in and help.

 

Truck is in safe mode... Big problems with the 6.7..... Hard to give advise on that one... Is it better to wait on Ford dealer to get the sensors in off back order and wait for it to happen again or is it better to delete and hope other issues don't arise? Hard call....
